#WearAMaskMB Campaign
Despite the fact that the provincial government is all but eliminating all public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the pandemic is still with us. It can be tough for families, businesses and communities to know what to do. Especially when we know how aggressive the anti-vaccine, anti-mask movement has been across Canada and here in Manitoba.
While it's shameful that provincial governments - including our own - have capitulated to extremist voices in removing popular and effective strategies like mask and vaccine mandates, we can still do our part. It's okay to be cautious. It's okay to protect each other. And it's okay to say so loud and proud.
For my family and yours.
For seniors in care.
For front-line workers.
For the immunocompromised.
For students afraid of being bullied.
I'll do my part.
I'll wear a mask.
